At BELLS Initiative, we are pleased to announce a special food distribution event for widows and widowers of the Imole-Ayo Society in Ido-Osun, Egbedore LGA, Osun State. The outreach is scheduled for December 24th, 2024 and aims to help vulnerable families celebrate the holidays with dignity and joy.

Supporting Widows and Widowers During the Holidays

The holiday season can be especially difficult for individuals who have lost a spouse. Beyond emotional challenges, many widows and widowers also face financial hardship. As a result, providing basic needs during festive periods can become overwhelming. BELLS Initiative seeks to ease this burden by offering practical support and reassurance during a time meant for celebration.

Our Mission and Community Focus

Our mission is to reduce food insecurity while strengthening community bonds. By supporting the widows and widowers of the Imole-Ayo Society, we want them to know they are not alone. According to Femi Lanlehin, Founder of BELLS Initiative, “Our goal is to bring hope and comfort to these families. We want them to feel seen, supported, and valued.”

Food Distribution Details

On December 24th, our team will distribute food hampers directly to beneficiaries. Each package will contain essential items such as rice, beans, cooking oil, and other staple foods. These supplies are carefully selected to provide meals for several days, allowing families to focus on the joy of the season rather than food shortages.
